My Old Kentucky Home Museum

We enjoyed our visit so much. The entire grounds are beautiful and alive with history. We attended during October, so we could see the weep no more tour. The mansion we decorated in Victorian mourning. The staff was great and very informative.

Highly recommended. What a beautiful place! We took the tour of the house and were not disappointed! Reluctant at first, because the tour was 45 min. long, we were not one moment bored, but amazed of the amount of information that was presented in a very interesting and entertaining way. All staff were very passionate about their work and presentation, resulting in a wonderful experience for us.

Interesting tour! The tour guides were great, very personable and informative. Our first floor guide, Molly, sang "My Old Kentucky Home" beautifully. A lot of original items that were family owned. The grounds were very pretty. Gift shop has a little something for everyone. Looking forward to going back again someday.

Enjoyed the mansion tour more than we expected. Federal Hill is tied to so much Kentucky history. So many period antiques that we enjoyed seeing. There is a couch where Andrew Jackson took naps on his visits. Guide was great. Told stories that made history come to life.
